PUPPY REGISTER

PAPILLON PUPPY REGISTER UK
I have started a new group on Facebook. This was, originally an experiment, but it has taken off and has become a valueable extension in aiding Margaret Unwin with her Puppy/Adult Register.
The same rules apply as with the register. People who wish to add puppies/adults to Margaret’s register must belong to one of the U.K. Papillon Breed Clubs.
Any owners of puppies sold, via Margaret, must give a donation of £5.00 minimum per puppy/adult. The proceeds of which will go to Papillon Welfare.
... It is to be hoped that this may go some way to steering people, in the right direction, towards the right breeders, when looking for puppies or older dogs, instead of going to some of the more questionable sites that seem to so prevalent, nowadays.
As with the Puppy Register, we take no responsibility for the integrity of the breeders or would be puppy purchasers. You must do your own home checks etc.
With this group, all dealings will be via Margaret, so if you have any puppies/adults for sale, please contact her first and she will deal with it.
Description of the dogs, temperament and upbringing, etc. and photographs of the Pap/Paps will be posted.
Details, such as name and addresses of breeders or affixes will not be allowed on this group.
Puppies that are posted on here must be at least six weeks of age and should not be allowed to leave the breeder at a minimum of 10 weeks old. Preferably 12 weeks of age.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, WILL YOU BE ALLOWED TO POST AN ADVERT ON THIS GROUP, WITHOUT GOING THOUGH MARGARET FIRST AND SHOULD YOU TRY TO DO SO YOU WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM THIS GROUP.
Anyone interested,
Please email Margaret Unwin

At our AGM in April, members we asked to vote on a new scheme, which initially would be for a trial period, of putting puppies/older dogs on a page of our website. In order to do this, they would have to be members of South Wales Papillon Club.

The cost would be £5.00, which would go towards maintenance of the site.

It would consist of details of the litter/dog and a photograph, plus any health checks of parents. When they are ready to be homed and what area they are in. For each dog sold, £5.00 will go to South Wales Welfare.

No names or addresses will be placed on site. Margaret Unwin’s name, email address and phone number will be on site and in all aspects it will be run the same as the puppy register.

We are going to have a code of practice that we would like members to sign, which at present would consist of:

Puppies must me over six weeks old, before placing advert. No affixes/ breeding to be mentioned, other that of the breeder, should they wish. Puppies should have been wormed regularly and not be re-homed until at least 10 weeks old. Preferably 12 weeks of age. A vet check should be recommended by the breeder with a money back guarantee, should anything untoward be found wrong with the puppy. Older dogs should be homed with a trial period of 1 month.

Any one using this service that we are providing must be prepared to guarantee that they are willing to accept the return of the dog for what ever reason, during its life time. If
that isn’t possible then they should agree to try and re-home the dog, suitably elsewhere.

THE SOUTH WALES PAPILLON CLUB WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY SALES / PURCHASES OF PUPPIES / DOG'S MADE THROUGH OUR CLUB / WEB SITE
